Cosmichrome systems can be applied over any substrate that is of a porous material such as wood, plaster, urethane, foam, etc. With a wide array of colors, including most popular options such as gold, bronze, black, and brass, our system makes it simple to produce the most upscale look and feel.

The raw surface needs to be prepared very smoothly prior to the application of the Cosmichrome basecoat. Spray the basecoat over the object uniformly and allow it to dry.
You can allow the basecoat to air dry naturally at room temperature for 24 hours, or you may bake the basecoat for 1 hour at 60°C/140°F.
Use a propane torch. Pass the flame over the dried basecoat assuring the flame comes in contact with the surface.
Spraying the activator over the surface. This will prepare the basecoat to accept the metal.
This is a chemical reaction that takes place when two products are sprayed simultaneously from the spray gun, producing a perfect metal reflective finish.
The topcoat is designed to seal and protect the metal. You can also give it the color of your choice by adding any of our various colors to the topcoat.
